Homes off the older subdivisions sometimes feed the kitchen through corroded galvanised pipe. If a section is past saving, we price the repair separately instead of hiding it in the install figure.
Waste lines that need checking first
A steady grey-water discharge from a new machine is hard work for old drainage. Much of the suburb's clay pipework has cracked and taken root with age, so we check the line before connecting up.
